Nurses, don’t support injurious “therapies”…
Big news from Dr. Breggin, Psychiatrist. Seems all those supporting electro-shock treatments have no leg to stand on when it comes to ECT being “therapeutic”. ECT causes PERMANENT BRAIN DAMAGE and nurses should not be supporting a therapy that damages our most vital organ, the brain. Another violation of our own Nurses Code of Ethics and a patients Human Rights to be free of cruel and unusual treatment, also known as torture.
